George Washington


  • George Washington was the first President of the United States, serving from 1789 to 1797.

  • He is often referred to as the "Father of his Country" due to his leadership during the Revolutionary War and his role in establishing the United States as a new nation.

  • Washington was also the only president in US history to be unanimously elected by the Electoral College, receiving all 69 electoral votes.
